Subject: Lyric: Little Potato & Alleluia From: Jesberger Date: 08 May 97 - 08:25 AM I am looking for two lyrics, The first is for a song that starts
"You're my little potato; You're my little Potato; The second is an alleluia that's on the John McCutcheon/Malcolm Dalglish recording Titled Banish misfortune. Its a one line lyric, but try as I might, I just can't make out the last words. Please help. Jack |
Subject: RE: Lyric: Little Potato & Allelulia From: LaMarca Date: 08 May 97 - 10:18 AM I think Little Potato was written by Pete Sutherland, if that helps. It's on one of his recordings, possibly when he was part of Metamora with Dalglish and Larson. |
Subject: RE: Lyric: Little Potato & Allelulia From: Joe Offer Date: 08 May 97 - 05:12 PM The only "alleluia" song I've heard McCutcheon sing is "Alleluia, The Great Storm Is Over," by Bob Franke. Check the database under "Storm" and see if that's the one. Otherwise, check McCutcheon's Web site: http://www.folkmusic.com/ -Joe- |
