Subject: BS: Apollo 11 - the movie From: leeneia Date: 04 Apr 19 - 07:45 PM A few days ago we went to an art theater house and saw 'Apollo 11', a documentary about the moon landing in 1969. The film uses actual footage from the time. It's an excellent film. Although I feel that the money could have been spent on something more realistic, the emotions I felt when the rocket took off, and when the surface of the moon (our Moon!) went by, were remarkable. It was also interesting to see how much in society has changed since 1969. Take hearing protection if you go. |
