BS: how to bypass company firewall?

I know that this might not be the best place for this, but I've never seen so many smart people on the web in one place before, so here goes:

I work for a company that sneds us out frequently to regional offices (we use Macs only), and there is a firewall in the system that won't let us check our email at www.aol.com or even get on mudcat! How can idefeqat this? Not being able to check my email several times daily now that I have become used to using it is a severe handicap and a major pain in the ass! and as long as I'm asking for extraneous computer advice, what is the best napster substitute? Audiogalaxy?

Unless yer looking to get fired, I'd stay away from messing with the firewall... Besides... yer at work... work... save tyhe play for after...

The napster alternative I'm currently using is Limewire... not bad, but a little cumbersome... took some time to get used to the interface... It's a Gnuetella product...

Me, I've just gone back to IRC. Where people have to have half a clue what they're doing before they're able to share files.
