My wife and I are heading off this week for a music and tourist excursion to Lafayette LA. I hope to get some fiddle instruction from Mtichell Reed of the band Charivari and check out Les Freres Michot. Any recommendations or suggestions while we're there?

Must visit Fred's Lounge in Mamou! Eunice is a good place to visit, too.
You might wanna check The Patsy Report for events in the area, and what's on at The Bluemoon Hostel.
Randolls in Lafayette, & Prejeans. Both good for eating & cajun sounds.
