Two days of sunlight, after too much rain. The setting sun lit up one of the trees on our green just now, and it was gloriously golden; for once, and just for a moment, I could comprehend some of what non-colour-deficient people delight in when the leaves turn autumnal.

Soon it will be chilly and the trees will be bare,
but not now:
now we have glorious autumn color and the sun-warmed air is delightful.
