Subject: BS: Getting naked for charity From: SueB Date: 09 Jan 04 - 02:54 PM Everyone's doing it these days, why not the Mudcat? I, for one, would pay a good deal to purchase a limited edition calendar with a dozen of our distinguished male contributors posing with instruments strategically placed... |

Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: GUEST,MMario Date: 09 Jan 04 - 03:12 PM We've done mudcat calanders before - in 2002 and 2003. 2002 was a "nearly nude" - 2003 less so though it did have some. needs a co-ordinator and a lot of nagging - and the skills to put it together. Probably not worth trying for a 2004 calander - but perhaps a 2005? |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: SINSULL Date: 09 Jan 04 - 03:20 PM Not me. I insist on getting paid. But it's got me thinking - where is that picture of Micca, the book, and the bear? |

Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Peace Date: 09 Jan 04 - 03:57 PM How about a calendar of lady performers playng instruments. Here I'm thinking of the harmonica, mandolin, dulcimer, ya know. What d'y'all think? |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: SueB Date: 09 Jan 04 - 07:05 PM 2002 was nearly nude? I'm sorry I missed it. Brucie, I'm afraid a harmonica wouldn't be big enough to hide my charms... |

Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Bobert Date: 09 Jan 04 - 07:16 PM Ahhhh, better start working on that stand up bass I got stashed in the closet. Awww, jus funnin'... Anyone that wants to see a nude hilbilly with a guitar fir a fig leaf deserves what they get. Though I doubt veryseriously that anyone in their roight mind would want to look at me fir a danged month. Plus, my arms are bound to tire out by the third day and then we have a new situation... Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: CarolC Date: 09 Jan 04 - 07:17 PM (P.S. And in one of them I was playing the accordion and standing on only one foot. I'm particularly proud of that one.) |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: mack/misophist Date: 09 Jan 04 - 07:26 PM One question. If every one looked more or less like me, wouldn't it be a violation of the Geneva Conventions? |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: akenaton Date: 09 Jan 04 - 07:33 PM If everyone looked like Carole C, it would be a best seller!!! |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: LadyJean Date: 09 Jan 04 - 11:03 PM Naked women do nothing for me. Now if some of the gentlemen catters were to disrobe..... A friend of mine had "The Revisionist Art Calender" Which included a picture of a truly lovely kilted man standing over a subway grate a la Marilyn Monroe in "Seven Year Itch" Hubba hubba hubba! |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Peace Date: 09 Jan 04 - 11:50 PM LadyJean: I didn't even pose for that shot. |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Peace Date: 10 Jan 04 - 12:01 AM Looking at the title of this thread: exactly who is Charity? May I be so bold as to request an introduction? Just trollin' here. |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Bee-dubya-ell Date: 10 Jan 04 - 12:57 AM My thoughts exactly, Brucie. When we're through getting naked for Charity do we get to get naked for Faith and Hope as well? |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Peace Date: 10 Jan 04 - 01:28 AM Better call for volunteers to help. I'm 56, and I don't want anyone to have it in for me. |

Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: CarolC Date: 10 Jan 04 - 09:51 AM There were some fine looking gentleman 'catters in both of the nearly nude calendars. The only one with clothes on, that I can remember, was GUEST. He wasn't anything but clothes. |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Bill D Date: 10 Jan 04 - 02:32 PM I was in those 1st two calendars, but I never got copies, so I don't know which pics were used. I wonder if I can still buy them for memories? |

Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Dani Date: 10 Jan 04 - 04:01 PM Hey, Bee: I only GET naked for faith and hope. Not necessarily in that order. Yes! Let's do again. Wait..... I still haven't learned to play the damn banjo. That leaves me with the kazoo. Dani |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Peace Date: 10 Jan 04 - 04:15 PM Hey, catspaw, will your team of experts put MINE in for me or YOURS in for me? I went through that before: somebody had it in for me and it was not a good scene. |
Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Peace Date: 10 Jan 04 - 04:25 PM Hey, bee-dubya-ell, we're famous. There is a link to a Ruben painting on another thread. Subject: RE: BS: Getting naked for charity From: Sam L Date: 10 Jan 04 - 08:02 PM I don't know, getting almost naked just seems sort of silly, like a walking race. Plain old nudity seems so much more dignified. |
