Interesting.

I'll certainly listen to a few of the ten talks they now have online, though I question their insisting that it Costs Enormous Amounts of Money to do so, thus partially excusing their $6000. attendence fee.

Obviously, they are concerned about being viewed as elitist and inaccessible to the hoi polloi, and have made an effort to address the issue, but I can't say they've been very convincing.

Nevertheless, well worth a look-see, thanks Susan.

I completely heart TED. Have you seen the full-length documentary about the TED conference? Simply awe-inspiring.

These are some of the most brilliant, creative and accomplished minds on the planet, doing some of the most exciting work that's being done these days. I'm happy to be one of the hoi polloi catching whatever bits filter this direction. Every time I see one of these talks, I come away completely inspired and turned on about the future again. Not a bad outcome for a ten-minute talk...
