Subject: RE: Folk Singers/Clubs in Boston From: GUEST,Barry Finn Date: 24 Aug 00 - 08:25 PM Hi Charlie, there are a few of us catters that go to a singer's session on Wed. evenings. It starts 9:30 ? 9:45 & it's at Paddy Burke's on Portland St. (Portland St is right across from the new Fleet Center). What's your musical tastes, there's quite a bit that goes on, see threads pretaining to Boston in the forum there loaded with local info. Barry |

Subject: RE: Folk Singers/Clubs in Boston From: Charlie2 Date: 25 Aug 00 - 11:34 AM Thanks Barry, I'm big on Dylan but recently have been reaching back to Hank Williams, Woody G, Sonny Terry/Brownie McGee and other historic characters. Thanks for the info, I'll check it out! |
