Subject: Folk song From: Apiatrix Date: 11 Feb 01 - 08:11 PM Does anyone now the title of and lyrics to the folk song Gail Davies mentions in "Grandma's Song"? The song says "that old fox, well he's a-runnin' like he never has done before", and the refrain is something like "come a loo, come a loo, come a-high-low, comin' down the merry stream"; "come a ram-tam-tam and a dippy-dippy dow". I know the words to "Grandma's Song", but I'd like more information on the folk song referenced. Thanks for any help anybody can give. |
