Subject: Lyr Req: Sanctified Sue From: GUEST,Gavin Atkin Date: 25 Nov 02 - 01:53 PM Hi everyone: I've been playing a tune from Thompson's 200 Country Dances that sounds to me very much as if it should be a song, and the odd title adds to the puzzle. Can anyone tell me please, is there a song 'Sanctified Sue' and are the lyrics (if any) and history knowable please? Thanks, Gavin |
