Spaw and the boys have been wackin their birds on the Penguin Liberation thread for the past few days. So far Spaw's batting 595.5, BillD has 595 and I've wacked a 593, all on sliders.

I only got 500. I'm about as good as this as I am at anything requiring me to hit a moving object with a bat. I keep "skying" the bird, so it's ending up in a nosedive.
Called my daughter through to see it, and got the "Oh yeah, I've seen that before." (I hate know-all 17 year olds).

(It's a version of the good old school fête standby, "splat the rat").

correction..my 595 was NOT on a slider...the best I've done on a slider was about 544...and I'm about convinced that there is a VERY random factor involved. I can see little difference in swings which get 450 and those which get 550...

Read about, and play other even MORE enhanced versions, including one that will keep records, it says.
