It is a site which compiles polling statistics from a number of other polls. tRump's unfavourability average rating is currently -15.5 and has been slowly and steadily getting worse. In the last year of compiled stats there have only been two positive ratings of +3 in July and +3 in October 2025 out of all of the polls covered. Also the last Fox News poll was -20 in April this year. If Fox fans think he stinks, then he must really stink.

And in bad news for Oz, we have a nasty, small-minded tRump imitator i.e. Senator Pauline Hanson with her fake red hair and her billionaire supporter. Gina Rinehart says Queensland should give some of its islands to Elon Musk - and put Israeli bases in Oz to produce military weapons.

Scary! Luckily our democratic system is strong - hopefully strong enough to kick her to the kerb. Or put Semtex in her toilet. That would work. ;-)

Those UN sanctions commit all member countries to comply with them. The EU confirmed this week that it would not be "automatically" dropping its sanctions ...

People avoiding his rallies and his tRump-branded supposed celebrations of America, losing in the (mostly tRump appointed) Supreme Court rulings about tariffs, birthrights and his appeal against paying for his crimes against E. Jean Carroll, losing favourability ratings due to his over-the-top focus on creating wars and international chaos instead of focusing on the needs of the American people, e.g. the Housing Bill which was cleared in Congress with bipartisan votes. And then there is the opposition to him tarting up the White House with gold gee-gaws and an unnecessary ballroom, and then the big reveal - his own entourage driving over the newly placed but not-yet-set blue covering on the Lincoln Memorial pool which is now algae-green and not blue and he is pointing the finger at everyone but himself.

Will the stress of these events bring him undone? I certainly hope so.

Perhaps the question should be why any country gives so much power to one individual.

Trump might want all these powers for himself but his term is limited. He does not to have give a shit about any opinion polls.

Come the next election what happens if a Democrat wins? Will he reverse any of the new regulations? Probably not. Will Republicans complain? Probably yes.

The partisan nature of US politics never ceases to amaze me. The gullibility of the population does dismay me.

In the UK our Prime Minister does not have presidential powers. There is lot wrong with our political system but it is not as wrong as other systems seem to be.

Republicans need to be careful what they wish for.

Trump has revealed his financial statement.

"US President Donald Trump earned more than $US1.4 billion ($2 billion) from several cryptocurrency ventures, according to his latest financial disclosure.

"It highlights just how central the crypto industry has become to his business empire."

"The almost 1,000-page filing, released by the US Office of Government Ethics, offers a detailed snapshot of the president’s finances during his first year back in office.

"Barack Obama’s and Joe Biden’s were eight and 11 pages long in 2015 and 2023, respectively.

"Because many of the amounts listed on the disclosure form are reported as ranges, it is difficult to state exactly how much Mr Trump earned last year.

"However, here’s a snapshot of some of the president’s finances."


Summary: $1.4 billion on crypto, $370,000 on gifts [note: the gold encrusted aeroplane is not included in the list for some reason], $4.7million on tRump branded watches, $290 million on real estate, $259,000 on a statue, $80 million on lawsuit settlements.

"She reported $US10.7 million in net proceeds from a licensing agreement connected to her self-titled documentary film, Melania.

"According to the disclosure, the first lady also reported more than $US6 million in income from another licensing agreement covering non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which are digital images sold online.

"Meanwhile, US Vice-President JD Vance’s 17-page disclosure reported income from his book, investment holdings and Bitcoin valued between $US250,000 and $US500,000."
