That's a much better assassination kit than Lee Harvey Oswald or Sirhan Sirhan had...

But "Authorities say three men who triggered an assassination investigation after their arrests in the Denver area did not pose a "true threat" to Barack Obama at this week's Democratic National Convention."

Assassinations are very often carried out by people who can reasonably be described as nuts. Especially in the case of assassinations of American presidents.

I think the notion that avoiding talking about such matters somehow reduces the likelihood of the happening smacks of magical thinking.
