As for Bob Barr, he is a flaming nut job that bragged as recently as yesterday that he is proud to have impeached Bill Clinton.
He beieves in mandatory sentences of decades for 18 year old kids caught with a joint. As Congressman from Georgia he SINGLE HANDEDLY overturned the sucessful legally voted in ammedment to DC law to decriminalaize medical mariquana. He still seeks to criminalize any private bedroom sex practices that he finds un American.
in short, Bob is hopelessly odd.

I thought he spoke well on this subject, though, and I agree with what he had to say.

One of the things I found striking was that they were saying that the offenses committed by George W Bush and his administration are far worse than the offenses committed by the King George we fought a revolutionary war to be free of.

Rapaire, He is not even a COngrssman anymore. I never understood how a congressman from Georgia was able to confiscate DC ammendment voting results for 4 weeks in the first place. If I understood how he did and how others let it happen I would tell you.
