Mrs Bonzo booked our flight to Buenos Aires next April and found a new option on the British Airways site to book your seat at the time of booking, which saves a lot of hassle later. And it seems that they now fly direct again, rather than have an irritating stop at San Paulo in Brazil.

Do other airlines have this option for long haul flights 6 months later?

Easyjet don't of course - could you imagine them doing long haul?????

As I understand it most airlines have always done this, with easyjet and ryanair being recent exceptions to the rule, pehaps along with british airtours etc ...

... it has certainly always been the case whenever I have flown long haul on BA - something I have been doing now for nearly 30 years.


PS - did you mean Sao Paolo?

Unfortunately, I believe they also do return flights. Damn!
