This is the final episode. Indian Ocean - Indonesia to Australia Page filled with other episodes He also did a series called 'Equator' too, some episodes of which you'll find in the link above. |

Subject: RE: BS: Indian Ocean with Simon Reeve From: GUEST,Eliza Date: 26 Nov 12 - 05:02 AM Lizzie, we adore 'Indian Ocean'. Simon is unassuming and gentle, but brave too (vis the saltwater croc!) I do like his respectful attitude to the people he meets. Terribly depressing though isn't it? Pollution everywhere, even behind the scenes in the Maldives. One despairs. |

Subject: RE: BS: Indian Ocean with Simon Reeve From: Lizzie Cornish 1 Date: 26 Nov 12 - 06:01 AM Yes, it's heartbreaking, Eliza...absolutely heartbreaking, and the end of last night's episode almost had me in tears when he showed the magnificent, untouched beauty of the Kimberley National Parks, going down to the Ocean and staring out over such great beauty, totally untouched by Humans...and then, he told us of those who are already working to take this beauty over and remove all they can from it. When he went further down the coast and showed you exactly what had happened there, then told you that it would be even *worse* back in the National Park, well........... ??? But he does it all so well, showing you The Beauty first, then The Beast. He has a Facebook page too, which he runs himself, Eliza.. Simon Reeve - Facebook |
