That is mostly what I do.
My overarching themes of cults, hypnosis poli sci, misinformation, thinking for yourself, tribalism and fear response to anger ALL go to having an understanding and defense against the holocaust tendancy of man. As long as people are confident it can't happen here, I will persist.

Orwell's resort to the "part of human nature" explanation for human behaviour almost condones atavism and dictatorship , in my opinion Donuel .

I think that George's lack of personal animus for Hitler the man can create that confusion. The species of man makes it too easy to follow a pretender who has mastered faking sincerity. Think for yourself, herd mentality is flawed. What is ancient is our mental wiring.
So in a word yes. The fault is in us and not the stars.
On the other hand...
Literal stars mostly do the stupid bidding of gravity.
