The usual thread length limit here these days is 700 and we're skating very close to that edge. The last thread was called Drumpf - Epstein Friend/US Prez 47/ War Criminal* and will be closed (too many posts would make it disappear).

Just as I can't stand to listen to his voice on the news, I can't bring myself to write than scoundrel's name in the title, hence using the family name from before his grandfather immigrated and changed it. Grandfather Drumpf/t went back and forth from Germany/Austria to the US from 1885 on, but (no surprise) the Austrians thought he was trying to evade the draft so he left for good. The name changed in the US to Trumpf, then to Trump. (Source: RBC-Ukraine)

Thanks SRS for keeping this topic open- although I'll be celebrating when we don't have to keep talking about that idiot - and thanks for the explanation about the name Drmpf. I had assumed it was a derogatory term and it might deflect internet searchers from finding out what the thread was really about.

Could this be the ship redesign topic you were referring to at the end of the last thread? (BTW, just when I think he can't become even more whacky and stupid he wants to go back in time and install a system which requires more personnel to operate even though there are significant losses of navy personnel available.)

King Donald is going to get away with it because he will be unfit to stand trial. The bone spurs will be playing up again. It will be interesting to see whether, in those circumstances, his and his family's ill-gotten gains can be sequestered as proceeds of crime. The family, of course, might still be vulnerable to charges.

In the 15 years I have posted about Trump, I have been accused of obsessive confirmation bias, but the conclusion that Trump is a self-indulgent evil man found me and was not just a pre-formed bias.
It appears most people have come to a similar conclusion.

There are economic reasons why Trump says he loves inflation. When he can delay payments for years with dollars that are worth less now he saves money. Also, debt creates a false money supply for banks.

The US debt is now 40 trillion dollars. The deficit is the outrageous interest we must pay to sustain the debt.
