Subject: Buy stuff, support Mudcat From: Mark Cohen Date: 17 May 00 - 11:09 PM This bears repeating periodically, especially with all the new people showing up (hooray!) If you click on the picture of the fish at the top of the Forum page, you will see a number of logos for vendors like Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. If you access those sites through this link, a small percentage of what you spend goes back to the Mudcat. The 'Cat exists only as a result of the tremendous volunteer work of Max and a few other stalwarts, so every little bit helps. Aloha, Mark |
Subject: RE: Buy stuff, support Mudcat From: catspaw49 Date: 17 May 00 - 11:17 PM Good thought for the new folks Mark....and I'll add that ordering from Camsco (Dick Greenhaus) and Folk-Legacy (Sandy Paton) also benefits the 'Cat. Just remember to mention you're a 'Catter when you order. Plus, of course, Dick is the MAN of the DT and Sandy is a 'Catter of some note too.....Sandy's always too embarassed to say which note though. Spaw |

Subject: RE: Buy stuff, support Mudcat From: GUEST,Roger the skiffler Date: 18 May 00 - 03:52 AM Did we ever establish if going to Amazon UK via the Mudcat route also benefits the Mudcat? RtS (easier to justify my BAS* and RAS** if I can say it's in a good cause!) For newcomers: *=Book Acquisition Syndrome **=Record Acquisition Syndrome |
