Subject: Any W. New Yorkers to play with? From: Lee Date: 29 Nov 02 - 09:06 PM I'm near Rochester, New York (USA) (Gates, actually), getting back into folk after nearly 20 years off spent in other activities (parenting, church music, storytelling). I'm looking for people to practice with, maybe even perform with. I tend to favor the light, though I do play some political and old timey, with original tunes tossed in - Mama Don't (al)low, I've Just Seen A Face, The Scotsman, Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport, Psychotherapy, The Shower Song, Deportee, etc. Think of an Arlo Guthrie kind of set. Any Mudcatters in my area? |
