I saw a post from a Lucy mentioning the name Izella - I am hoping she or someone else will see this post and be able to tell me the correct pronunciation of this name...

The name seems to have been more common in the past than it is now, showing up in genealogical searches in the U. S. We pronounced it I-zel'-la, with a soft 'I'.
The name shows up in website searches of Breton France, and at a guess this is where the name comes from. I don't know the pronunciation there.

My daughter's name is Izella. Pronounced as I-zel-la. It is a variance of the name Izellah, which means Little Princess.

In Brittany it would be eesella, with a hard s as in nose.

It also seems to be Greek, "Ιζελλα", which I think is pronounced the same as the Breton, or perhaps eedzella.

Very common as an old Cornish name, it is now seeing something of a revival. Pronounced like the name Isabella without the ab bit!
Our God daughter has this beautiful name.
