Need LPs or CDs Young Peoples Folk Dances

Anyone have these LPS or CDs, called "Young Peoples Folk Dances," or know where they can be had?

Here's what my sister, "bet," the retired elementary music teacher who is now teaching elementary music full-time in Alaska (!) said in her request to me:

I just called the company that I bought the CDs from and they say they are discontinued. They only do computer stuff now. I bought them from Merit Audio Visual in New York. They have changed their name to Merit Softwear. I've called them and they didn't have any idea where I might get the CDs. or even who the publisher was.

Thanks for any help, folks. I did find one listed with a company in Canada, but when I checked back it said they'd deleted it from their catalogue, I assume because it was sold. Same story on ebay. Found one listed on google, went to ebay, it's done gone.:-(

They have, through one means or another, become the archive for various collections of dance LPs...mostly legacies, I think. If they need a member's name for any reason, feel free to drop mine.

There are some good current resources on the topic:

Folkstyle Productions for international material,

New England Dancing Masters for more American/English style stuff,

Marian Rose's Community Dance Project has a variety,

as does Homespun Occasion's "Peel the Banana" collection.

The first 3 sets of folks will keep you going a long time.

and even the CDSS
