It became apparent as the day approached that stress was building in an unhealthy way; you can only do so much deep breathing to contain it. I still wish I was there, but I am watching the District of Columbia event live (via the link above), and I've reposted photos friends have shared of the event and sent the live feed link with each one.

In Fort Worth there are a lot of folks taking the Portland, OR, tip and have attended in lots of clever costumes. Ridicule Trump and ICE and the sycophants who support them.

Journalists may no longer do any independent reporting on the Pentagon. They may only report statements that the Pentagon produces.
All the journalists have now left the Pentagon. Trump's News One will now be the mouthpiece for the Pentagon.

What this policy does for the military could be applied to other agencies in the future.

For a journalist to report anything the Pentagon has not reviewed could result in espionage charges.

Yes, this is unconstitutional as usual.

Today, Republican Senators will have lunch in the Rose Garden; however, all the rose bushes have been destroyed. Trump had it paved over.

They say some old guys need more ball room.

Trump demands a military response to arch enemy cities such as Portland, Chicago, and LA, which are hotbeds of violent insurrection.

So far, the insurrections are devilishly invisible except for people running from ICE.

What Trump truly wants is for people to fall in line and not resist stormtrooper fascism in the street and near detention camps.
It does not matter if Congressmen, children, or old ladies are arrested in this show of power. Trump is not above deporting people to God knows where. I wouldn't rule out Trump deporting Americans and Palestinians to Greenland in December.

We are watching "Bones" on Amazon. The one playing now is from March 2013 and involves the murder of a refugee. A guy from the State Department just said "these people come here for a better life. Anyone who messes with that is messing with the USA."

in the biggest 7+million peaceful protest, everyone agreed that the econmomy, decency, and respect for the rule of law are crucial.
Civility will return more slowly. This world has gone crazy but that is not new. In a world that is full of hate there are more kind people to inherit the Earth.

The extortioner and chief has ordered the Justice Department to pay him 230 million dollars for the lawsuits brought against him prior to his election. He doesn't want a trial.
