Does Mike Tucker realise that his former date has changed her name and got a job at Lower Loxley? (I can't remember her name, but I do remember that voice.)

Yep. Mike's a gonner.

At the moment I'm loving Christopher's transformation into Mellors. Alice is actually a bit of a comedown after the uber-posh Venetia, isn't she?

I doubt he's "sleeping outside the tent" now, though...

Someone needs to teach Alice that song Jim Causley sings about the blacksmith....

That'll be why he wanted the photographic evidence (a bit like an old-fashioned divorce case with a private detective producing evidence of a 'dirty weekend' in Brighton).

OK - so who's this new chick who's just hitch hiked in? Greg's daughter? And why is Tony so little enthused by her arrival? I think I started listening in about the time Greg departed the series ...

Though it might be better for her if Matt was sent away for some time to think on the error of his ways, and for her to get some independence back.

All a load of bollocks these stories, they are invented by Vanessa Whitburn. Actually Matt and Lilian are fine, going through a spot of bother but taking it on the chin, as are the rest of the cast, Shula still goes to church, Mike's new lady is getting on extremely well with Brenda, Jazzer is still using his own accent instead of the recently added cail-yardery, and Brian is not actually at all curious about what he feels about the rest of the inhabitatants feelings about their feelings about other peoples' feelings.

No silly, it's two guitars they are talking about. They are going to perform as a folk duo, with Jennifer playing a Martin, and Brian on a Gibson.
Obvious!
Cheers
Dave

That financial adviser of Brian's sounds suspiciously like Ryan from AA, who stole things from Alistair - I can't remember if he went to gaol, but if he did he must have been let out.

But last time it came to nothing - just anguish and disappointment. This time it could be successful, and they could by-pass the clinic and save Helen a load of money.

Or maybe they could just have Helen making arrangements over the 'phone and not let on who she's talking to, then they could play 'Guess the Father' like they did years back with Jennifer.
