Nothing to do with any of that, H, and everything to do with the Israeli Regime placing themselves beyond criticism, no matter how far they step outside international law or the accepted rules of morality and humanity.

I'm wondering what this has to say about Hegseth: According to a BBC Red Button article, the US Secretary for Defence has decreed that military males aged 30 and over are to be tested for their testosterone levels as part of their annual health checks, and offered^† top-up hormone replacement therapy if and as needed. Testing is (erm) optional for males under 30. Females are not being so screened. Reason given on Xitter, in a post entitled "High-T Department": to ensure "you have the right testosterone levels to operate at your absolute best".

Surprise: My instant reaction was "bollocks".

† Presumedly as in "I want three volunteers: you, you and you."

Hrothgar & BWM, I agree about Netanyahu's tactic to name any criticism as "Anti-Semitic" so that criticism about the war in Gaza is deflected.

MaJoC, my Hubby saw that on Farcebook, I think, and told me about it. The apparent justification is to increase their fighting abilities, but possibly to decrease transgender attributes in some of the defence force. My first thought was that increased testosterone in the males would possibly or probably lead to more sexual assaults of the females in their vicinity.

Re possibly-increased sexual assaults: I expect the testosterone substitutes to be used as a standard post-facto excuse in any subsequent courts-martial. There's also the minor matter that such treatments are already known to be correlated with reduced fertility in metabolism-abusing body-builders.
