I'm used to that strip of ads between music and BS, but today has been something quite unexpected.
Four pretty young south-east Asian girls, with buttons for "Chat Now" and "Send Gift".
Possibly due to my following the thread on the Rochdale abuse case, but ought they to be soliciting here?

Not that I really care, but I am sure it offends some people.

When I came on just a few minutes ago, there was one asking people to sign a petition to defund NPR. It claimed that taxpayers are being forced to pay NPR to spread "Socialist propaganda."

I'm sure there are a couple of posters here who would agree and approve, how come this stuff is showing up on Mudcat!??

I assume it's because the ads are generated by Google (I think???).

That's up to Max to sort out. Anyone PM Max yet?

Anyone donate to Mudcat lately? Anyone clicking ads to help Max lately? If you are not, shame on you!

The "Order Mudcat CDs" doesn't work, btw.

But the Google ads are fine. Just saw ads for your lawnmower when I was on that thread.
