Subject: BS: Acupuncture - your results? From: Wesley S Date: 06 Jul 12 - 01:05 PM I'm about ready to try acupuncture for some back pain I've had for the last year or two. Has anyone had good results from it? What are your experiences? |

Subject: RE: BS: Acupuncture - your results? From: katlaughing Date: 06 Jul 12 - 02:40 PM I've posted about it before, though it would have been before 2005. I had very good results, though I do think who the acupuncturist is can have a strong effect. Good luck! |

Subject: RE: BS: Acupuncture - your results? From: Big Al Whittle Date: 06 Jul 12 - 07:11 PM for back pain, I've always used a chiro practer - found them in the main, to be very good. However I went to an acupunturist for tennis elbow one time. Second visit, she hit some kind of nerve canal in my body, and I hit the ceiling with pain - but the next day the tennis elbow had gone. theres something in it. Dunno what though. |

Subject: RE: BS: Acupuncture - your results? From: Janie Date: 06 Jul 12 - 11:28 PM Limited treatment experience for two different conditions. Had no effect from two acupuncture treatments of one condition, but significant improvement from one acupressure treatment for another condition. Same practitioner for two different conditions, plus significant skepticism on my part that acupuncture could be helpful for a lung infection and considerable optimism on my part that acupressure could be helpful for a musculoskeletal condition. |

Subject: RE: BS: Acupuncture - your results? From: John P Date: 06 Jul 12 - 11:34 PM I've had lots of acupuncture for back pain, wrist tendonitis, restless leg syndrome, and various other things. Very good results for all of it. My acupuncturist has a nice combination of education and sensitivity to energy. And she takes my insurance . . . |
