Subject: BS: Taking advantage4 of rare days in June From: EBarnacle Date: 09 Jun 20 - 10:15 PM Lady Hillary and I are helping out at an isolated/observed radio operator's test this coming Saturday. This Sunday, we went to a place called Washington Rock to check out one of the devices that allow you to broadcast to all of the FM radios in the neighborhood. This will be used to instruct the testees. After we finished the checkout, we decided it was too nice to go home and back to isolation, so we went to the only one of our local lakes that was open and went rowing for a couple of hours. That's the right way to spend a June afternoon. It's also why we carry the boat everywhere we go with the van during the warm weather, just in case. |

Actually I am enjoying a sunburn gleaned from a lakeside (private, our public ones are closed) beach, aaahh, on Tuesday. A friend is moving out of a gated community so I asked to come enjoy the beach before they left... Brazen! [To channel Erich Kästner] |
