Subject: Music in Belfast on Sunday night? From: BuckMulligan Date: 13 Dec 02 - 11:57 AM I will be in Belfast (Northern Ireland, UK, not Maine) next week, and will be at a loose end on Sunday night. Any suggestions as to where there might be some interesting live music (folkish, preferably)? |

Subject: RE: Music in Belfast on Sunday night? From: GUEST,oliphant Date: 14 Dec 02 - 11:37 AM There used to be a session in the John Hewitt Bar but it may have finished. Sunday night there is a folk club, mainly singing, in the Hercules Bar in Castle Street which is convenient to Belfast city centre. Starts about 8.30 or 9.00. They tell me that the front door closes early but if you rap someone will hear you. One of the organisers is Francis McPeake. |
