Have been quoted for 4 adults (two parents and two children 12 and 14), 563 pounds stirling from the UK to Orlando for the last week in July and the first week in August. Can anyone give me a link to a cheaper airline. Can go anyday/any hour.

Prices rise the nearer you get to the dates. It is a simple case of suppky & demand. Usually the cheap flights get taken leaving the expensive ones. Don't dither too long.

I posted this in the last couple of days somewhere else, but I'll tell you here. There are places like (Travelocity that you can join for free and set it up to do searches for you. It will notify you when prices drop below a certain level, if you set it up.

If on the main screen you tell it the exact dates you want to travel, it comes back with rates that aren't bad, if you're far enough out from the trip. But if instead of saying you have specific dates, you simply say "any date" it always comes back with cheaper fares. You THEN go in and use the calendar to work out the specific dates you wanted all along.

During a session on Mudcat Chat last week several of use were comparing fares between the UK and Washington D.C., and between Alaska and the UK and getting some good fares.
