I mean "folks" as "associates," not parental beings.

Two Chimps Tear Off Man's Eye, Nose, Foot

Two male chimpanzees escaped their California cage and attacked a man's eyes, limbs and private parts, officials said Friday.

Medics bagged a severed nose, foot and an eye of the victim, St. James Davis, who was listed in critical condition at Loma Linda University Medical Center, the Bakersfield, Californian reported Friday.

It was not immediately known if any of the severed parts could be reattached.

"Everybody was trying to get the chimp(s) off," said Kern County sheriff's Cmdr. Hal Chealander. "(Davis') face was literally ripped off."

A family member of the chimps' owners shot the two chimps to death. Two female chimpanzees also escaped but did not participate in the attack and were put back into their cages.

Davis' wife suffered less severe injuries to her arm as she tried to help him and was taken to a local hospital, officials said.

This has already been beaten to death by that bozo, Catspaw49, and now you gotta start in on it. Gimme a break. This is totally insensitive and uncalled for. What are you tryin' to do, stir up hatred against chimpanzees? This ain't funny. I am really ticked off to see this shit being brought up again and again on this forum, and I know what's really going on here. I know a hate campaign when I see it.

There are a whole lotta violent acts that go down every day in the USA and I can tell ya right now who is responsible for 99% of them. Human males. That's right. Humans, not chimps. Humans are constantly attacking and killing other humans and animals too. Now you get one incident of a couple of cage-crazy chimps goin' bananas and it gets splashed all over like the pit bull thing.

This is grossly misleading. What about all the chimps who lead peaceful, constructive lives? What about hard-working chimps like me who sweat blood and put our lives on the line so you bozos can walk the streets in relative safety?

Gimme a break and DROP this thing about the damn chimps in California. They weren't my relatives.

This thread is 'Chimpist' and could lead to prejudice against chimps, some of whom do not subscibe to the school of ripping men's faces off.
Other primates do bad things too WYSIWYG, as do human beings.

Damn right it's chimpist. Boy, is Chongo ever bent out of shape over this exploitationist stuff. Mind you, I've heard him say things about gorillas that would curl your hair. But he doesn't post it on the Net.
