"In 2001, Nato invoked Article 5 for the first - and only - time in history. It meant that every allied nation was obliged to stand with the United States in Afghanistan, in pursuit of our shared security. Allies answered that call," Prince Harry said.
“I served there. I made lifelong friends there. And I lost friends there. The United Kingdom alone had 457 service personnel killed."
A spokesperson for U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer backed Harry, saying that Trump "was wrong to diminish the role of NATO troops" in Afghanistan.
Starmer himself later called the remarks "insulting and frankly appalling."
That would also be another apt title for a Trump biography: “insulting & frankly appalling.”

We are only permitted one UK Politics thread, it makes no sense to bring UK issues into a US Politics thread. Better to keep UK issues to the UK thread, surely?

Lost me here Backwoods man ~ I used the OBR and other checking methods as a comparison to what there appears to be lacking in US (lack of control on t's policies etc)

In fact, he has ordered signs put up outside the Smithsonian museum that say "This museum has an inaccurate view of slavery and American history."

The signs are in place. The wording on the signs are more extensive than my abbreviation,
