G'night, kids. Sandy

There is no cure, Emily, just check into the Neil Young Center for the Terminally Screwed every so often for rehab and Catspaw's self kelp group. Doesn't cure you, though, just makes you ready to go back to the 'Cat when you get out.

Dear Emily,

My sincerest apologies.

The comment was not intended to be "heard as a desparaging word" maligning your posting. It was a whimsical list of suggestions for those 6% mentioned in the AP article.

Once again...
I am sorry that the ambiguity caused you anguish.

Y'know, since various reports state that 24.7 of the general population in the US suffer from a diagnosible mental illness during their lifetime, 6% addicted to the internet sounds pretty good!

and in case anyone is worried about becoming obsessive-compulsive over their mudcat use...

I may have to admit that I have a problem. This summer, I was s'posed to revamp my entire school program, so as to be prepared for September. Instead, I went to a couple of folk music weekends & a get-together at annap's, planned & hosted a Mudcat party, & picked up the photo & profile pages. I have had a really wonderful time. Now, school is 1 1/2 weeks from opening, I've just found out my principal (who liked me!) has quit to take another job, & I'm wondering what I've done!!!!!! As others have stated, the creativity, warmth, & general looniness of you folks has got me in its grip & I have no desire to be loosed. Sure hope I can maintain enough self-control to keep a job!

best from NY,

bbc

Hmmmmmm............better keep your job at the Pub.
