One of our Federal politicians has just changed party, from the (more right wing) junior partner of the (right wing) Opposition coalition, to the growing racist party - hmmmm

Said Opposition got almost wiped out in the election earlier this year - they lost women & young people & inner city electorates, so are going further right (let us sing a few bars of When will they ever learn) And he as gone even further ...

Which probably explains why we’re not hearing anything about the shooter and his prosecution, at least on major news outlets here in the UK. If he had been someone from The Left who did for Kirk, we’d never hear the end of it. The same situation seems to exist in regard to the guy who fired the shot that, if you believe in fairies at the bottom of the garden, ‘wounded’ Trump’s right shell-like.

And will someone please tell the MAGA dipshits that ‘Antifa’, as an organisation, does not exist - it’s a political movement…

The meaning of "Anitifa" in the United States is a little misleading.

"Antifa" isn't commonly used to designate just anybody who opposes Fascism or who fought against it World War II.

When the right talks about "Antifa," they mean that teeny-tiny number of political thugs prepared to use violence not just against actual Fascism, but specifically and more often to advance communism or, possibly more often, anarchism. "Antifa" presumably consider FDR and the Clintons "Fascists." (I can remember when "Antifa's" predecessors, like the Weathermen, were stridently denouncing Johnson and Nixon as "Fascists.")

In right-wing fantasy, "Antifa" is all over the place.

But as so often has been said, there is no coordinated "Antifa" organization. Just a tiny, tiny, disorganized network of potentially dangerous nuts.

Today 16th December 25 Trump has has issued a $5bn or similar libel claim for a BBC Panorama expose (Uk prog) for a BBC film re Jan 6th claiming that changes and clipping of sections had been made ~ Trump say words he said were never never said ~ it is imv the rearranging of the sequencing that is the issue ~ the changes were I feel editorial and also most certainly in keeping with the "physical charge" he had incited ~ Trump did not follow through his promise to join that final Capitol building with those he had deluded
