Did I read on here sometime back that someone had acomodation at Whitby? We are looking for a smallish place (say for 4 or 5 with 2 bedrooms) for late May or so.

Apologies to all if I dreamed it!

We have stayed here twice and was ideal.

Igrid Flute are one of the better people to book accomodation through.

Thanks Smiler - Looks like a toss-up between that one and another we saw on the old side that was similar. Any other information much appreciated but we will probably be booking this weekend.

Cheers

El Gnomo, there are hundreds of holiday lets in Whitby, do you have any specific needs, does it have to be DDA compliant, do you mind which side of town you are on , do you need car parking (always awkward)What makes up your party, i.e do you want double or twin rooms. Would you consider B & B or room only accommodation, if you can narrow it down a bit there's quite a few Catter's in town who will put feelers out for you.

Cheers

Raggy

Hi RT - I know Whitby pretty well (Met you in the rowing club one night btw) so finding accomodation is no big deal. It is primarily for part of the family to go but with space for other people to visit and it must be self catering. Must have 2 beds at and the scope to put up another 2 or 3 people for various parts of the week. The cottage that Smiler posted is about right.

The reason for posting on here is that I thought someone once mentioned that they had a cottage or some such. Just thought I may as well support a fellow Mudcatter as a total stranger.

Thanks anyway and any more help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Dave
