I've Forgotten More- response song

An old country song came out of the blue today that I hadn't thought of in yay many years- I've Forgotten More than You'll Ever Know (about him). It was recorded by the Davis Sisters or maybe jsst Skeeter Davis with harmony, and I remember it very well.

I always liked the song and its treatment but I got to wondering about the song someone wrote and recorded in response to it. I never liked it as well as I did the older song but I don't remember why.

I don't remember how it goes but its theme is 'I've found out more than you ever knew about him' - not sure if it's those actual words, though.

I remember a line about 'you're only blinded by cold jealousy' or something like that. I've googled several phrases but nothing came up; I checked with Cowpie too but without a title or artist there's not much to go on.

Does any Mudcatter remember that song?

Bob Dylan is amazing. I would never have guessed that he would record a song like that. I'll have to hunt it up.

The song I am really after is the response to that song that somone else recorded some time after. It was from a woman's point of view and was refuting the premise of the first writer, that far from not knowing as much about her man she knew him better.

Betty Cody sang 'I Found Out More Than You Ever Knew About Him'.

I didn't have any luck when I looked but Gene is exceedingly good at coming up with stuff like this..so I asked him.

This question led me across a bunch of stuff I haven't heard in years and now I've even heard the answer song..gosh, who could ask for more?!
