In Taiwan, a guy yelling "God will save you" leapt into the Lion Pit at the local zoo. Lucky for him, they had just been fed, so they only chewed him a little bit. He was given a complimentary ride in the rubber waggon wearing his pretty new jacket with the funny sleeves...

I'm not making this up you know....

The tale of Chew-man-fu was the first thing that sprang to mind!
Closely followed by a german poem I remember from school days about
Konig Franz and his Loewe Garten, in which a guy leaps into the lion's den to rescue a lady's glove.
Will give it all some thought.

I'm a cuddly sort of chap you can rely on
You can call me Keith, and though I growl and show my teeth
we will play around like chums,
and I'll just bite you with my gums

Well I really am quite tempted said say the chappy from Taiwan
My friends all say I'm sensitive, not at all a macho man
Your teeth are very long, but I like friends who come on strong
I'm sure through mutual respect, oh I'll do it what the heck.....

But the lion had a missus, and she growled, I'll smash yer face in
She said who is it you've brought in now, I need that room to pace in
The Lion said, i'll chuck him out, lets just nibble him right up to the knees
she said alright, I suppose I wouldn't mind a bit of Chi -onese..

Taipei scans better I think... or may be easier to pronounce...

Keep getting images of a mix of "Albert and the Lino" with "Jump in my car"
