Hi Dave

Hope the weekend goes well, we have a similar get together at the Highest pub in Ireland the top of coom in October, 'Music in the Mountains',High in the Cork/Kerry Mountains. (you can buy a pint in Kerry and walk across the border and drink it in Cork!) It's been going for quite a few years now. Mabey we could organise a cultural exchange?

We can thoroughly recommend The Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in Britain - B&B wih spectacular views, good old Yorkshire grub, a barking mad landlady, three real ales including Theakstons and Black Sheep beers and a strong Ewe Brew, specially supplied by the Dent Brewery. As Friday evening drew to a close, Ranting Rich read us his verses - and it was the same on Saturday morning. Black pudding, beans, egg and sausage taste so much better when washed down with Ranting Rich's poems. For God's sake, go to the Tan Hill weekend!
