30 years ago when Tech stocks dropped 500 points it was a crash.
Now when the market drops 3,000 points it is a minor correction.
Concentrated wealth (like in Bond movies) can steer market prices artificially and only indicate what Hedge fund owners want to do.

Treason requires a state of war but treasonous and traitorous acts are really watered down when Flynn and Trump can take money from forign nations to merely lobby, change policy and push for the interests of dictators without declaring themselves foreign agents.

If you look you will see more dangerous drivers. With the advent of mobile phones and airbags I see riskier moves by drivers than ever before.

The change in the use of language speaks for itself...*

There are brand new indicators of harm to our planet caused by people.
But that is normal isn't it?

Having glimpsed political adverts, methinks the USA has become inured to the rhetoric. And I castigate myself for using such a polite word for what appears to the Old Guard in the UK as immensely disrespectful of the process of democracy. Let alone the candidates - who have thick skins. Democracy doesn't.

Make no mistake the UK has politicians that are just as insidious yet do it with a veneer of politeness, mostly. But, despite their best efforts, they don't hold the reigns.
