Subject: RE: Obit: Malcolm Storey From: Nick Dow Date: 10 Jan 25 - 04:24 AM Richard Spencer gave me this sad news yesterday. Mally and I had a lot of time for Malcolm, and I was pleased to spend time with him and Judy in Aberdeen a year or so ago. He was a man who spoke plainly and stuck to his guns. He was also reliable and supportive of the performers he valued. We will all miss him. RIP and thank you Malcolm. |

Subject: RE: 2025 Obit: Malcolm Storey From: Tattie Bogle Date: 13 Jan 25 - 04:55 PM Often saw him at Whitby Folk Week, where he was known as Mr Whitby by some. Many artists over on Facebook acknowledging how he first brought them to the festival. I didn’t really know him personally but had a wee conversation with him on another thread just a couple of weeks back. |
