Out of the blue I received two gifts from Mudcatters.

On one thread I had asked if anyone could find me some jam tart trays so that I could make mince pies. They are not available here in the States.

One Mudcatter sent me a couple of baking trays from England.

On another thread I had mentioned that I collect old cameras.

Out of the blue another Mudcatter sent me a couple of very good, usable older cameras.

Now guess who these Mudactters are.


















Morticia sent me the baking trays and Alan C sent me the cameras.

Are these two made for each other or what!!! They each had looked into threads and remembered details which no one else had noticed and then took the trouble to act upon that knowledge and pack something up and mail it to me.

As I'm the world's worst person for mailing things and following through on things or even simply sending letters, I can't find words to tell you how precious these gifts are to me.

I'm so happy that these two wondeful people have found each other.

We (Brits) also make little cakes in those tins.
If you put in just too much mixture, they come out with crispy rims around them.

Hmmmm.........Quite a thing to have happen Bert......Ask and you shall receive huh? And of course Allan and Morti are really a perfect match! But, uh, I really liked the way this worked out for you.........Hmmmmmm.............

Say listen, did I ever mention how much I need a Jaguar XK8? And how about the fact that I am working on collecting either '84 or '85 Honda Sabre V65 motorcycles? Just thought I'd mention it.......
