Well, it looks like no more angels on the runways come November. SF Chronicle is reporting this today:

Victoria's Secret to drop its television fashion show amid criticism

I have mixed feelings about this and the Howard Stern cancellations. I hate both programs, but don't like the fact that the fist of censorship is coming down like this.

And people were worried about the govmint taking away their guns!

The next volley after cleaning up the airwaves will be getting rid of free expression on the internet in the guise of "protecting the children"....Wait...it's already happening!

The Wall Street Journal article mentioned that the ratings were not high for the second show that aired on CBS, and even more importantly, there were no increases in sales after the show aired.

I wonder if Victoria's Secrets is using this heightened paranoia about indency as a crutch instead of admitting it was a bad business decision?
