Subject: Tune Req: for 'Hills of Ardmorn' From: friskett Date: 28 Oct 04 - 07:54 PM Hello, Can anyone direct me to a source for the melody for Roy Williamson's "The Hills of Ardmorn"? (No ABC notation, however, thanks all the same). I did check that it's not here at Digitrad. Thank you, k. |

I found it in a 2nd hand shop not long ago. Or you might order Malinky's '3 Ravens' where it is included among other very good stuff, well worth buying. |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: for 'Hills of Ardmorn' From: DonMeixner Date: 06 Dec 04 - 11:48 PM I just recieved in the mail from Gavin Browne, "Lads Among The Heather," By the Corries. This is a compilation of videos of live performances from their TV show. One of which is "Ardmorn". I believe you can see the instruments long enough to get the chords down if you need them. There is a second new DVD available which I will have very soon. I am continually impressed by the performance s and quality of work these men did. Like them or don't. They were always first rate musicians and both remarkable voices. Don |
