Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: SINSULL Date: 30 Jul 01 - 02:19 PM Kendall - take a long, hard look at Micca's "Nearly Nude Calendar" photo before you accept. Wouldn't want you to lose that Maine reserve all at once. Bad for the heart. |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: John Kidder Date: 30 Jul 01 - 02:29 PM Kendall: "Touched With Fire" will do your heart and your soul a power of good. You are most assuredly not alone, in fact you are in the company of most of the world's great artistic temperaments, just as Kay Jamieson says. john Kidder |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: Linda Kelly Date: 30 Jul 01 - 02:33 PM Remember -It's never Dull in Hull -get the boy Sables to to get you over here. |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: Peter K (Fionn) Date: 30 Jul 01 - 02:39 PM Kendall, I would have thought recording for Folk Legacy would have been worth about 100 in anyone's book, so in clinical terms I'm afraid you're presenting an excess of stability. Another stunt of the latter-day sheriff has been to banish all bows and arrows from city logos, letterheads etc - not the dynamic business-orientated image the city wants to project. Yuk. |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: kendall Date: 30 Jul 01 - 03:29 PM Thanks Micca, I just might take you up on it. I want to meet as many 'catters as I can. |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: kendall Date: 30 Jul 01 - 03:33 PM Fionn, the scale only goes to 20, and I have never been that highj. The word from Folk Legacy is about as high as I have ever been. |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: Peg Date: 30 Jul 01 - 07:34 PM well I stayed with Micca twice aned never had to see him naked... Had a lovely time nevertheless... Peg

Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: kendall Date: 30 Jul 01 - 10:31 PM Peg, you probably could have if you had asked! LOL |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: Liz the Squeak Date: 30 Jul 01 - 11:23 PM I'm not lucky, just well heeled and single! - A bed is already waiting for you here, just give me the word and don't tell Manitas!!! Seriously, if you feel that the prospect of a naked Micca is too much, but don't mind childish nudity (the bratling is getting better, though she still runs around with no knickers on sometimes... at least she keeps the dress on), then we have space and would love to see you. Regrettably though, we only have the one car now so won't be able to offer a lift to Llanstock, as we might have Mudguard with us in it. And don't worry, I'm not going to offer you a pillion ride! Micca's threat about stray catter's is probably best treated as a promise.... any excuse! LTS |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: Trevor Date: 31 Jul 01 - 08:23 AM I'm just down the road from Bron at Llanstock. Maybe we can introduce you to some of the delights of The Marches - especially The Six Bells and a pint of 'Cloud Nine'. Give us a shout. |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: SINSULL Date: 31 Jul 01 - 08:52 AM Be sure to teach the Captain some Morris Dancing. I would pay to see that performance, especially if he wears his kilt. |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: GUEST,Raggytash Date: 31 Jul 01 - 02:37 PM Kendall sorry to hitch a ride on your thread but this may interest you as well as Chanteranger. Whitby has 2 festivals running over the weekend of the 19th 20th of October. One is the Whitby Musicport World Music Festival which may or may not be of interest to Catter's. However the same weekend is the Captain Cook Maritime Music Festival which should prove to be. Each has a web site:- musicport@Email.com & Cook.seafest@onyxnet.co.uk. I'll probably not be there, as a trip to the Emerald Isle may beckon, however I do have a tatty caravan within easy walking distance of the town, except for the 199 steps up to the abbey..........not easy after eleventeen pints. If you need abed it may well be free. Drop me a line |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: kendall Date: 31 Jul 01 - 02:49 PM Liz, what is a "pillion ride"? No problem Raggytash, I welcome all input here. Actually, Morticia has first refusal on my time, it was she who invited me in the first place, and, she has graciously offered to serve as tour guide, but, If need arises, I will take you all up on your offers too! I luv ya, one and all. Liz, I raised 3 little girls who also liked to appear "knickerless" But, dont worry, Most of them outgrow it! And I make allowances for the ones who dont! LOL |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: MMario Date: 31 Jul 01 - 02:59 PM Kendall - is it safe for you to go to England? I thought they still had a warrant out for you - ever since that time you snuck down to Boston, dressed up as an Indian and dumped all that stuff in the harbour...?
his shouting "down with German George! probably didn't endear him to the English, either.... |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: kendall Date: 31 Jul 01 - 07:44 PM That does it! no wonder my passport hasn't arrived yet! Look man, the statute of limitations ran out on that dido! |

Unfortunately it creates a lifelong difficulty in finding it, I think. I know I'm living proof. Have fun in England...Morty and Liz are hilarious and clever...Noreen is plucky and sings like a lark...harp |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: kendall Date: 01 Aug 01 - 07:04 AM Thanks HG, I believe you are right, but, what do you do about it? I've always felt like I am in the world sideways and dont really belong here. |

Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: Morticia Date: 03 Oct 01 - 04:25 PM Kendall has arrived and to prove it, he's here!We have just had the jolliest evening of music and food and some, but by no means all, the drinking....he is now a tired little teddy bear and has wondered off to bed but we will be moving amongst you in the fullness of time. |
Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: MMario Date: 03 Oct 01 - 04:34 PM "wondered off to bed" I like it, even if it wasn't intentional! Hope kendall has a great time - which I am sure he will. |

Subject: RE: BS: Kendall in England From: catspaw49 Date: 03 Oct 01 - 09:53 PM Kendall, you were in transit during Mudcat Radio this week and we dedicated a song to you..........I could tell right away when Max played it that it was your kind of tune so I said why not do this one for Kendall? Had a real melodious quality about it, sorta' like a psychotic Gordon Bok on peyote and having a bad attack of gas. You'd have loved it! You have to check the archive.....We wanted to do something special, and believe me, this one is special! |
