Kendall - take a long, hard look at Micca's "Nearly Nude Calendar" photo before you accept. Wouldn't want you to lose that Maine reserve all at once. Bad for the heart.

Kendall:

"Touched With Fire" will do your heart and your soul a power of good. You are most assuredly not alone, in fact you are in the company of most of the world's great artistic temperaments, just as Kay Jamieson says.

Kendall, I would have thought recording for Folk Legacy would have been worth about 100 in anyone's book, so in clinical terms I'm afraid you're presenting an excess of stability.

Another stunt of the latter-day sheriff has been to banish all bows and arrows from city logos, letterheads etc - not the dynamic business-orientated image the city wants to project. Yuk.

Thanks Micca, I just might take you up on it. I want to meet as many 'catters as I can.

Fionn, the scale only goes to 20, and I have never been that highj. The word from Folk Legacy is about as high as I have ever been.

I'm not lucky, just well heeled and single! - A bed is already waiting for you here, just give me the word and don't tell Manitas!!!

Seriously, if you feel that the prospect of a naked Micca is too much, but don't mind childish nudity (the bratling is getting better, though she still runs around with no knickers on sometimes... at least she keeps the dress on), then we have space and would love to see you. Regrettably though, we only have the one car now so won't be able to offer a lift to Llanstock, as we might have Mudguard with us in it. And don't worry, I'm not going to offer you a pillion ride!

Micca's threat about stray catter's is probably best treated as a promise.... any excuse!

LTS

I'm just down the road from Bron at Llanstock. Maybe we can introduce you to some of the delights of The Marches - especially The Six Bells and a pint of 'Cloud Nine'. Give us a shout.

Be sure to teach the Captain some Morris Dancing. I would pay to see that performance, especially if he wears his kilt.

Kendall sorry to hitch a ride on your thread but this may interest you as well as Chanteranger. Whitby has 2 festivals running over the weekend of the 19th 20th of October. One is the Whitby Musicport World Music Festival which may or may not be of interest to Catter's. However the same weekend is the Captain Cook Maritime Music Festival which should prove to be. Each has a web site:- musicport@Email.com & Cook.seafest@onyxnet.co.uk. I'll probably not be there, as a trip to the Emerald Isle may beckon, however I do have a tatty caravan within easy walking distance of the town, except for the 199 steps up to the abbey..........not easy after eleventeen pints. If you need abed it may well be free. Drop me a line

Liz, what is a "pillion ride"? No problem Raggytash, I welcome all input here. Actually, Morticia has first refusal on my time, it was she who invited me in the first place, and, she has graciously offered to serve as tour guide, but, If need arises, I will take you all up on your offers too! I luv ya, one and all. Liz, I raised 3 little girls who also liked to appear "knickerless" But, dont worry, Most of them outgrow it! And I make allowances for the ones who dont! LOL

Kendall - is it safe for you to go to England? I thought they still had a warrant out for you - ever since that time you snuck down to Boston, dressed up as an Indian and dumped all that stuff in the harbour...?

his shouting "down with German George! probably didn't endear him to the English, either....

...The best cure for anaclitic depression Kendall, is attachment! Unfortunately it creates a lifelong difficulty in finding it, I think. I know I'm living proof. Have fun in England...Morty and Liz are hilarious and clever...Noreen is plucky and sings like a lark...harp

Kendall has arrived and to prove it, he's here!We have just had the jolliest evening of music and food and some, but by no means all, the drinking....he is now a tired little teddy bear and has wondered off to bed but we will be moving amongst you in the fullness of time.

"wondered off to bed" I like it, even if it wasn't intentional!

Hope kendall has a great time - which I am sure he will.

That would be "right" as opposed to "left" , Noreen" ? Or did you have another connotation in mind ? :-)

Kendall, you were in transit during Mudcat Radio this week and we dedicated a song to you..........I could tell right away when Max played it that it was your kind of tune so I said why not do this one for Kendall? Had a real melodious quality about it, sorta' like a psychotic Gordon Bok on peyote and having a bad attack of gas. You'd have loved it! You have to check the archive.....We wanted to do something special, and believe me, this one is special!
