Subject: BS: Out of the mouths of babes ... From: Lox Date: 01 Aug 09 - 09:39 AM My 5 year old and I were having lunch today and as we ate my PC selected random tracks for us to listen to. A song came on by Swedish folk/fusion group "Hedningarna", and my daughter described it as indian music. I said that actually the band were Swedish and the music they were playing was based on hungarian folk. She asked if I was sure and I said I was She looked thoughtful for a second and then turned to me and asked: "What is folk?" then she asked: "what's so funny?" |

Subject: RE: BS: Out of the mouths of babes ... From: Lox Date: 01 Aug 09 - 08:10 PM I thought so hard about what to say - and laughed for so long - that she simply didn't get an answer. I just told her I'd play her some folk music later. And you can thank your lucky stars she hsan't entered the debate so far ... she'd wipe the floor with any of us! |
