Subject: RE: BS: Movie-time? From: Ebbie Date: 03 Sep 10 - 12:57 AM How about that! I almost asked before I made that statement and then thought, I haven't heard of one in 40 years. Glad they still have them in Colorado- and most likely in other places as well. |

Subject: RE: BS: Movie-time? From: katlaughing Date: 03 Sep 10 - 10:58 AM Pretty neat, huh? I keep thinking we'll take Morgan to one, but it'd be about an hour's drive, at night, and neither one of us would relish that WITH an energetic almost 7 year old at the end of the day. Maybe we could caravan with his parents and just *share* the experience.:-) |

Subject: RE: BS: Movie-time? From: Ebbie Date: 03 Sep 10 - 06:48 PM Tam, we all remember the drive-ins from when we were kids or when our kids were little. The part I didn't realize is that they are still around. |

Subject: RE: BS: Movie-time? From: olddude Date: 03 Sep 10 - 08:38 PM I remember going with my girl friend in HS... a-hum ... ahhh ... we never watched much of the movie. They actually had a guy who would walk around and tap on the window if it was ... ahhh steamed up ... if they saw anything more than the usual, they kicked ya out .. |
