Not in Colorado, Ebbie: CLICK and they grow corn near the ones in Montrose and Delta, but, thank goodness it doesn't get that hot!*bg*

How about that! I almost asked before I made that statement and then thought, I haven't heard of one in 40 years. Glad they still have them in Colorado- and most likely in other places as well.

Pretty neat, huh? I keep thinking we'll take Morgan to one, but it'd be about an hour's drive, at night, and neither one of us would relish that WITH an energetic almost 7 year old at the end of the day. Maybe we could caravan with his parents and just *share* the experience.:-)

Fork Union Virginia has a drive in theatre. Great fun taking the kids there. And I loved the one on Crater Road Petersburg when I was a kid

Tam, we all remember the drive-ins from when we were kids or when our kids were little. The part I didn't realize is that they are still around.

I remember going with my girl friend in HS... a-hum ... ahhh ... we never watched much of the movie. They actually had a guy who would walk around and tap on the window if it was ... ahhh steamed up ...
if they saw anything more than the usual, they kicked ya out ..
