I actually missed Barb's birthday as my USB ports went down and I went to ethernet, but had a problem, so I was off for about a week or so....but now I'm back and I want to give this birthday thread to a great gal who has never had one before on the 'Cat.....and she's been around several years!!!

She and I have a bit of a bonding with our diverticula problems. We actually spent time in the hospital together at exactly the same time....just 2500 miles apart! But I read that Barb has recently been given a good report on her colon. I'd prefer a good report on the weather, but believe me if you have had diverticulitis (and Barb let hers go waaaaaay too long), this is happy news.....SO.............

My very first Mudcat Birthday thread!! I'm thrilled and honored! I had a wonderful birthday. Who knew that turning 50 would be so much fun! AND the party continues! It started off in Vancouver with a wonderful "session" with Musicman and friends at a local pub. Imagine having a "session" in your honor with one the finest singers ( and my favorite!!... (that's just in case he reads this!!!) lol) and group of musician/friends. I'm still on a high over that one! AND then, on my actual birthday, 10 women friends chartered a 43' foot boat and we went to this magical little island marine park and ate, drank and swam. The best part was my daughters taking along their water colours and painting two beautiful pictures that I shall treasure for ever. AND then, 3 days later my friends threw me a surprise party, where I met up with oodles of friends that I hadn't seen for awhile. AND on Friday another dear friend is coming to vist and take me out for dinner! AND NOW... this thread! I'm so spoiled ain't I?? If this is what it's like to be my 50's...then bring it on...it's great! Thank you Spaw for remembering and thank you all for you good wishes!
