Subject: Tune Req: Female version of Queen of Argyll From: AnkhesenAset Date: 18 Nov 03 - 09:17 AM At one point I actually had this, but now I've lost it and would dearly love to find it again. It's a female version of the song sung by a trio, I believe. I think they're sisters, but not 100% sure. If anyone can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. :) |
Subject: RE: Tune Req: Female version of Queen of Argyll From: GUEST,MMario Date: 18 Nov 03 - 09:27 AM Do you mean a version SUNG by women ? (There is nothing in the song that I can recall that would prevent the viewpoint from being that of a woman talking to men - rather then a man talking to other men) or a reworking so a women is talking about a man... |
Subject: RE: Tune Req: Female version of Queen of Argyll From: AnkhesenAset Date: 18 Nov 03 - 09:58 AM It's sung by women. Sorry if that wasn't clear. |
Subject: RE: Tune Req: Female version of Queen of Argyll From: Joan from Wigan Date: 18 Nov 03 - 12:55 PM Your header says "Tune Req", so I assume you have the words. If it's the same tune as the original (male) version, I have the dots and can work out an ABC for it and post it here, or can email you the score if you'd rather. PM me with your email address if you want the actual dots. Joan |

Subject: RE: Tune Req: Female version of Queen of Argyll From: Zhenya Date: 18 Nov 03 - 04:47 PM There's a recording by the group Morning Star with a female lead vocalist. I can't remember if there are other women singing on it. |
