Subject: RE: BS: Is someone on my computer???? Skarpi... From: GUEST,MMario Date: 06 Feb 04 - 04:05 PM skarpi - services.exe is a normal windows process. if you have an up to date virus scanner - delete the e-mail and ignore it. |

Subject: RE: BS: Is someone on my computer???? Skarpi... From: Rapparee Date: 06 Feb 04 - 04:13 PM Skarpi, just be sure to keep your anti-virus software up to date. It will protect your computer from viruses and worms and such things. You might want to scan the whole computer every week or two. That way the bad guys will be stopped. If you don't know the person email comes from, don't open any attachments. Of course, you can still get a virus from someone you do know. That's why you have to keep the antivirus up to date. Unless the antivirus scan of your computer showed a problem I'd just ignore this message. |

Subject: RE: BS: Is someone on my computer???? Skarpi... From: Clinton Hammond Date: 06 Feb 04 - 04:25 PM This email isn't even a virus... it's one of the many spam virus warnings that float around and around and around because people who don't know any better continue to forward them... Don't be one of those people... |

Subject: RE: BS: Is someone on my computer???? Skarpi... From: Rasener Date: 06 Feb 04 - 04:57 PM I use AVG which is free and is very good. I download updates evreryday and do a complete scan everyday. Can't be too sure. Every so often (once a month), I go on line to Trendmicro and run PC Cillin House doctor. This is free. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp I also use Googles toolbar and control popups. |
