Kim Howells made the front page in the Observer today under the headline "British split with Bush as Israeli taks run in", subheading "Minister attacks 'disproportionate' raids".


Later in the article says:

Howells said: "The destruction of the infrastructure, the death of so many children and so many people: these have not been surgical strikes. If they are chasing Hizbollah, then go go Hizbollah. You don't go for the entire Lebanese nation." The minister added; "I very much hope that the Americans understand what's happening to Lebanon."

Elsewhere it says:

Downing Street ... said they had no quarrel with Howell's scathing denunciation of Israel's military tactics.

The headline should say "tanks roll in", not "taks run in".
